Tv & Film Production
This work-related course will introduce you to filming and studio techniques, including video editing, through direct experience in the industry as well as expert teaching. As part of this course you will investigate key features of digital moving image and audio production. You will learn about the context of your chosen industry within the media and about TV and radio audiences.
Practical production focuses on planning and pitching your own digital media product. This will be done in conjunction with real industry professionals. You will also gain experience of editing sound and moving image productions using our industry specification editing suite.
Post-16 study: This course will prepare you for a more in depth study at Level 3 BTEC in Creative Media or apprenticeships within the technical side of film and television production.
Careers: Eventual careers in this industry might include: camera operator, producer, director, digital image technician, editor and many more.
