What is Film Studies A-Level? 

Our course is designed to introduce learners to a wide variety of films in order to broaden their knowledge and understanding of film and the range of responses films can generate. Film Studies A-Level explores how the language of film has an impact on our responses, and how understanding the context of a film’s production enhances the way we think about the film itself. You will study iconic American and British films, and investigate how developments in filmmaking have affected our experiences of film viewing.
